Description:

In the aftermath of the Feast of Booths, Jesus stands in the Temple in Jerusalem and cries out that He and He alone is the Light of the World. Even though John's initial readership was well aware of the deep symbolism and Scriptural richness of His statement, we need to dig deeper into both the rituals of the Feast of Booths and the events of the Wilderness Years to find the full meaning of what Jesus is proclaiming. Ultimately we will develop another powerful image of Jesus as both Savior and Lord and the brilliant Candelabrum of Light and Life who provides illumination, guidance, salvation and sanctification for all who will walk in His light.
