Description:

After recounting the sensational vision of the four beasts, Daniel gives us a rare glimpse of the throne room of God as he relates the judgment and retribution of the blasphemous and boastful fourth beast. Afterwards, in perhaps one of the most famous segments of his book, Daniel tells of "one like a son of man" who comes to the throne room, is presented to the "Ancient of Days," and then coronated as king of a vast and never-ending kingdom. We will carefully analyze the description of both the throne room and the coronation to make sure we grasp the fullness of the vision. For when we do, we will realize how integrated these verses are, both in Daniel and in the fulfillment of these prophecies in the New Testament. Ultimately we will glory in this magnificent picture of the establishment of the universal and eternal Kingdom of Christ and the coronation of its King.
