Description:

In this Easter morning Gospel message we will celebrate the Resurrection of Christ from the grave without breaking stride in our study of John. For Jesus explains that not only does the Good Shepherd lay down His life for His sheep, but readily takes it up again. We will find that the Crucifixion was never the end of God's plan of redemption but that the Resurrection was always in mind, and therefore His rising was inseparable from His dying. When the love that brought the Father's decree and the Son's obedience together is considered, we will finally understand what Jesus meant when He said, "I am the door". For the concepts of the Cross, the empty tomb, and the love of God, are gloriously interwoven together to establish Jesus as the the Door to Life.
