Delivered during the Sunday morning worship service, 10/27/2019. What happens when the Light of the Gospel invades the spiritual darkness of this world? The darkness fights back! In this message we will take another look at the work of the Holy Spirit in the world: convicting the darkness of sin and righteousness and judgment. Our focus will be more on the work of the Spirit in the darkness to those who are under bondage to satan: both those the Spirit will redeem because their hearts have been regenerated, and those who will pit themselves against the work of the Spirit, fighting the Kingdom Alliance tooth and nail! These principles will be graphically illustrated in an eventful voyage Pastor Kirby took to one of the most remote places on earth. A place where darkness has traditionally reigned, but where the Light has invaded in the form of a tiny church. The response of the darkness is predictable, but so is the outcome. Ultimately, the lesson and moral of the story is one of faith in the sovereignty and Providence of God, regardless of the circumstances.
