Description:

Delivered during the Sunday morning worship service, 11/03/2019. In the last of His so-called "Paraclete Passages", Jesus continues to reveal the approaching work of the Holy Spirit. Having established the Helper's convicting work in the darkened world, His attention turns to His work in the hearts and minds of believers. The nature of this activity will be revelation, and the focus will once again be Jesus. For the Spirit of Truth will continue to unveil the truths concerning the person and purpose of Christ, well after He has returned to His Father. Ultimately we will trace God's graduated self-revelation through Redemptive History and realize that the most perfect, complete, and resplendent revelation of God is to be found in His Son Jesus, the Christ.
