"Learning to worship our gracious God in the splendor of His Holiness."
Recorded on: Sunday, 11/22/2020 at 10:00 AM
Description:
Delivered during the Sunday morning worship service, 11/22/2020. When Moses stumbled upon a bush in the desert that was burning but did not burn up, he was witnessing far more than just a supernatural event. He had an encounter with the God of His fathers who is both transcendent and immanent. We will look closely at this phenomenon, and what these words mean-- how God was "in" the bush but not "of" the bush. We will carefully monitor what God says to Moses about His holiness and the way He should be worshipped. Ultimately, we will apply these lessons to ourselves and take a hard look at the casual and sometimes flippant way many Christians approach the "holy ground" of the Lord, failing to remove their sandals and thus failing to understand what it means to truly worship the Holy.
