"Analyzing Paul's logical argument of why true believers should celebrate the Resurrection of Christ."
Recorded on: Sunday, 04/09/2023 at 10:00 AM
Description:
Delivered during the Sunday morning worship service, 04/09/2023. In this Resurrection Sunday message, we turn to the apostle Paul's first epistle to the Corinthians and his great discourse on the reality of the resurrection from the dead. After establishing the irrefutable fact of Christ's Resurrection, he confronts those who doubt the physical resurrection of believers with his primary premise that if there is no resurrection for them, then even Christ is not risen from the grave. He then lists six profound and disturbing consequences to the very core of Christianity if indeed Christ is not risen. We will analyze each of these consequences and rejoice in the fact that each one is "turned on its head" by the reality of the Resurrection. Ultimately we will realize the Resurrection positively proves all God's promises-- thereby vanquishing all doubt and partial belief and leading Christians to revel on this Easter Sunday in a true Resurrection Celebration!
